Thieves are now using social networking sites to find their next victims

Most people in today’s world use social networking sites to remain in touch with friends and family, and to post pictures. The good majority of these people, though, do not realize that what they post on the internet can be viewed by anyone, and may be used against them. Information regarding birthdays, hometowns, and so on can be used for identity theft. So what do you think? Do we post too much information online for others to view? Or should websites, such as Facebook and Twitter, increase their security to ensure the safety of their users?
