“I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell” is a truth-based book turned movie about the author, Tucker Max, a self-proclaimed womanizing asshole.  He’s slept with more women than he can remember.  He’s gotten drunk and made a complete fool of himself on a regular basis.  He’s been arrested in an airport.  Max’s book is 300 pages of disgusting, scandalous, dishonorable events that actually occurred in his life.  Women read this book and still want to meet him.  Men read this book and want to be him.  I admit to reading this book and laughing hysterically out loud.  My book has been passed around because so many people want to read it.  Why is it that we find such entertainment in the lives of the disgraceful?  Why do people want to meet a man that no one could honestly respect?
